Slimbridge Parish Council have set up a Flood Risk Working Party to look at the flooding issues Slimbridge experiences and find ways to reduce this. There are a number of ditch networks being looked at from the A38 through the village incorporating the flow of Lighten Brook. The group consists of Cllrs and members of the public.
